Arkansas Rural Health Partnership members received several nominations for the 2020 Health Care Heroes Awards. The awards and nominees include:
INNOVATION HERO — Mellie Bridewell, chief executive officer, Arkansas Rural Health Partnership;
HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATOR — Brian Thomas, CEO, Jefferson Regional Medical Center; VP, Arkansas Rural Health Partnership;
LARGE HOSPITAL OF THE YEAR (100 beds or more) — Jefferson Regional Medical Center;
SMALL RURAL HOSPITALS (Less than 100 beds) — Ouachita County Medical Center.

The Health Care Heroes Awards, presented by Arkansas Business, recognize 37 individuals and organizations that are making a significant impact on the quality of health care in Arkansas, according to the release.
Honorees will be celebrated at an awards ceremony from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at the Embassy at Little Rock.
