Divine 9 and community partners will present Candidates Forum 2020 at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Candidates running in state and judicial races will be featured, according to a news release.
Candidates and positions include:
Sen. Stephanie Flowers and Efrem Elliott — State Senate District 25;
Keidra Burrell and Gary Smith — State Senate District 27 (Democratic Party);
Efrem Neely, Kandice Bell and Judge John Kearney — District Court Judge District 29, Division 2;
Independent reporting for Pine Bluff & Jefferson County since 1879.
Mac Norton, Tom Owens and Therese Free — Circuit Judge Division 11th West, Division 3, Subdistrict 11.2.
The moderator will be Judge Waymond Brown of the Arkansas Court of Appeals. The community is invited to attend and hear the views of political candidates.
