Ruby Robinson, 88, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 7, 2015, at her home.
Mrs. Robinson was born December 4, 1926, in Birmingham, Alabama, a daughter of the late Ester and Lina Bryant McCaskill. She was reared and received her early education in Sheridan, Arkansas. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1946. After graduation, she moved to California for a short time then returned to Pine Bluff in 1949.
She married Ryland R. Robinson, Jr. on December 23, 1944, in Sheridan, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ryland R. Robinson, Jr. of Pine Bluff; grandson, Sean McCaskill of Houston, Texas; granddaughters, Leah Morgan and Kerri Melton, both of Pine Bluff; a sister, Retha Mae (Conrad) and Dwight Puckett of Pasadena, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clayton McCaskill, daughter, Lynda Maxwell, two brothers, Charles and Jim McCaskill.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 10, 2015, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 10, 2015, 2:00 PM, at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Reverends Todd Howard and Steve Monk officiating. Interment will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan.
