DUMAS – Mrs. Ruby W. Lee, 68, of Dumas passed Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born July 10, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Huggins and Mary Lee Reed Williams. She was a member of Tyree Temple A.M.E. Church in Dumas serving as Sunday School Teacher, Mission President, Church Secretary and Trustee, and as Secretary at Dumas Junior High School.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Lee of Kansas City, Mo., Derrick Lee, Anthony Williams both of Little Rock, three daughters, Donna Taylor of Conway, Mereceree Goodwin of Sikeston, Mo., Shonnie Lee of Dumas, one brother, Archester D. Fahn of Dumas, four sisters, Mary A. Williams, Kerma O. Jones both of Dumas, Charlester Deloris Jackson, Corlis C. Jasper both of Pine Bluff, 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Bethlehem Worship Center Dumas with Rev. J. Barrington Minix officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Pine Bluff by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas.visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 4-5 p.m., Family hour from 5-6 p.m. The body will lie in response at the Church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
