Army Pvt. Eric J. Rouse has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
Rouse is the son of Deborah Rouse of Pine Bluff and is a 2013 graduate of Pine Bluff High School.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills among other training.
