Four area residents recently joined the Arkansas Army National Guard and each earned education benefits valued at $50,420.
Arkeeno Beavers
Private Arkeeno Beavers of Pine Bluff will serve with the 777th Aviation Support Battalion at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock as a power generation equipment repairer after attending Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. He is the step-son of Roderick Gaston and grandson of Dorthy Kirk, both of Pine Bluff. Beavers is a recent graduate of Hot Springs High School.
Kahni Griswold
Private Kahni Griswold of Pine Bluff is the daughter Jasmine Saih and Timothy Williams of Pine Bluff. Griswold will serve with HHC 39th Infantry Brigade as an aviation operations specialist after attending Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. She will graduate from Watson Chapel High School in 2015.

Ezekiel Davis
Private Ezekiel Davis of Pine Bluff is scheduled to graduate from Dollarway High School in 2015. Davis will serve with 1123rd Trans as military police after attending Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. He is the son of Amanda Thacker of Pine Bluff.
Julius Hightower
Private Julius Hightower of Sherrill will serve with the HHT 1-151 Cav in Warren as a healthcare specialist after attending Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. He is the son of Julius Hightower Sr. of Sherrill and will graduate from Dollarway High School in 2015.
