GOULD — Robert Reynolds, Jr., 87 of Gould, Arkansas died May 6, 2012 in Little Rock, Ark. He was born September 27, 1924 in Pine Bluff, Ark. to Robert Reynolds, Sr., and Vera Tucker Reynolds.
He was Baptist, member of the American Legion, V.F.W., Mason and Eastern Star. Robert was also a veteran having served in the United States Army and Air Force with 21 years of service and retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal.
Robert’s parents and three sons, Bob, Dennis and John Reynolds preceded him in death
His wife, Fathie Reynolds of Gould, Ark.; one son, William “Bill” Reynolds of Austin, Texas and four step sons, Edmond James of Collierville, Tenn., David James of Dumas, Ark., Bruce James of Dumas, Ark. and Morgan James of Hardin, Ark.; six step daughters, Jackie Smith of Dumas, Ark., Deborah Marchand of Stuttgart, Ark., Glenda Weatherford of Sherwood, Ark., Meda Pickens of Star City, Ark., and Mary Scarbourgh of Star City, Ark.; one sister, Vera Davis of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren survive him.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 with services held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in Griffin Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Monty Meek officiating and burial with Military Honors to follow in Dark Corner Cemetery. Family request memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Ark. is in charge of arrangements.
