SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, — Richard Tarrant Rogers went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2012 at the age of 76. He was born in Monticello, Ark. to Carl Rogers and Bonnie Dickson.
He was preceded to eternal life by his mother, Bonnie; brother, Ross Deviney and cousin, Marjorie Mae Bond.
He is survived by his wife, Reiko; daughter, Karen; son, Richard; sisters, Pat Eaton, Ginny Griffith, Carolyn Matlock, Mary Margaret Wiginton; brother, Dickie Deviney; grandchildren; Lea and Ava and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held on 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Castle Ridge Mortuary, in San Antonio, Texas with a prayer service to be recited at 7 p.m. A Graveside Service will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
