RISON — Rachel Laverne Booker, age 77, of Rison, died Monday May 7, in Little Rock, Ark. Born November 1, 1934, she was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, member of First Baptist Church and the widow of Luther Jarrett Booker.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Don Booker, England, Ark., Gary Mac Booker, Monticello, Christopher Booker, Rogersville, Mo.; one sister, Edna Davis, Camden, Ark.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Frazer’s.
