The Parent Teacher Organization at Pine Bluff High School will host a Bond for Funds fundraiser Thursday, April 21.
“This is a fun and light-hearted event that will raise money to assist PBHS teachers with extra things they need, and to show them appreciation for their dedicated work with our children,” a spokesman said in a news release.
Members of the community and district personnel will be “detained” while waiting for family, friends or others to bond them out of “jail” (actually the PBHS media center).
Once bond is fully paid, they will be set free. Bond has been set in the amount of $250. This event is sponsored by the PTO and not the school district, the spokesman said.
