The Pine Bluff Police Department’s Detective Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying a forgery suspect, according to Lt. DeShawn Bennett, public information officer.
Detectives believe that on Oct. 11, an unidentified Black male (whose image was captured on surveillance) forged a business check at Roberts Brothers Tires, 1415 E. Harding Ave., for more than $1,000. They also believe he is responsible for forging another business check on Oct. 15 at Midtown Tires, 400 W. Fifth Ave., for more than $1,000.
The male was seen leaving both businesses in a black Chevrolet Tahoe (2015-2020) with tinted windows and no license plate on the back.
Anyone with information on the identity of the person in the photo is asked to call the detective office tip line at (870) 730-2106, the detective office at (870) 730-2090 or the dispatch center at (870) 541-5300.
