Police search for suspect in retail theft

Pine Bluff police have identified a woman and arrested another in connection with thefts from the Pine Bluff Walmart Supercenter on July 25.

The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking for assistance in locating Dayneisha L. Goins, 35, who stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. Her last known address was 1804 W. 10th Ave. in Pine Bluff. Goins also has several outstanding warrants, according to a news release from the police.

A second suspect in connection to the Walmart thefts, 43-year-old Ebony Davis, was arrested Friday afternoon.

According to Walmart’s asset protection team, the women were observed on store cameras walking out with nearly $1,500 in merchandise they did not pay for.

The women then entered a newer model white Dodge Durango and exited the parking lot at a high rate of speed, nearly striking another vehicle.

In all, 38 items totaling $1,484, pretax, were taken.
