Pine Bluff police are continuing their investigation into an incident early Friday that resulted in injuries to a Pine Bluff man.
Capt. Greg Shapiro said Robert Wooten, 66, was seriously injured when he attempted to cross an occupied railroad track on Michigan Street at about 2:59 a.m.
Shapiro said Wooten was treated at the scene, then taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he was taken into surgery.
No further information was immediately available and Shapiro said the accident is being investigated by the police Traffic Division.
