The 152nd Grand Session of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Arkansas and the 139th annual Session of the Royal Grand Chapter of ARK, OES-PHA, was held Feb. 22-24 at their state headquarters, 2906 E. Harding Ave., Pine Bluff.
The sessions were filled with ceremonies, banquets and joint sessions, according to a news release.
The programs included:
Feb. 22 — A memorial service honored those who passed on the previous year. The guest speaker was Lee Coleman, pastor of Rocky Mountain Baptist Church, Little Rock, and Master of Retrieve Lodge #134, Lonoke, followed by the Grand Master Reception.
Feb. 23 — The official opening was held and that evening the annual CN Toney Trustee Board Banquet was held which included awards of recognition given to members and the annual car raffle drawing.
Feb. 24 — A joint session convened with the 20th Grand Master Mark McGraw giving the annual Allocution and continuation of session and annual elections.
Delegates from across the nation joined from 14 jurisdictions which included Georgia, Colorado, Alabama, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arizona, Washington and Texas.
