PATRICIA A. TUCKER
Patricia Ann Rowell Tucker, 84, of Warren, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 in Chapel Woods Nursing Center.
She was born Sept. 21, 1930, in Warren, a daughter of Wilburn Leon Rowell and Dorris Evora Herring Rowell. She was an executive secretary in Dallas, and then she became a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, she attended the Biola College in Los Angeles and studied at the Dallas Bible College. She founded the Warren Genealogy Society. She contributed to a quarterly published review journal on genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl “Mickey” Tucker; and a son, Larry L. Tucker.
Survivors include two daughters, Jan Tucker Rogers of Garland, Texas and Suzanne Tucker of Warren; a son, Michael Clayton Tucker of Grand Prairie, Texas; a brother, Rusty “Wilburn” Rowell of Warren; a sister, Barbara Clayton Mitchell of Warren; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Frazer’s Funeral Home Chapel in Warren. Burial will be in Parker-Prospect Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
