Gertrude Patricia “Pat” Nitson West, 67, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Born May 20, 1947 at Pine Bluff, she was a daughter of the late William Nitson and Aileen Law Nitson.
Mrs. West was a homemaker and a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
She enjoyed sewing and being a part of the Glory Land Singers, but her passion was being a grandmother and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, William West; children Jason West (Karen) and Cathrine Brown (Thomas); Siblings, Bob Nitson (Lanell), Jane Baker (Ron), and Shirley Staneart (John); five grandchildren; Cheyenne, Meagan, Dustin, Aly, Madison, and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Salem Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverends Howard Loetscher and Jeff Temple officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
The family will be at the home of Cathrine Brown at other times.
