SIDS: Safe Sleep for Your Baby will be the topic at the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative/Parents as Teachers meeting.
The meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at ARESC, 912 W. Sixth Ave. The speakers will be Billie Dorn, Mattie Glover and Patricia Johnson of Epsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
The sorority recently kicked off a community education campaign to help parents, prospective parents and other caregivers to reduce the high incidence of death from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
