Ophelia Valliant, 92, of Osceola, Ark. passed September 15, 2016 in Jonesboro, Ark. Born August 12, 1924 in Shaw, Miss. to the late C.W. and Annie Wilson Thompson.
Survivors include two sons, Rev, Joseph (Gwen) Valliant, Jr. of Redfield and Wilbert (Lee) Thomsson of Los Angeles, Calif.; five daughters, Annie M. Scales and Julia (Charles) Branch of Osceola, Ark., Teresa Maeri of Bloomington, Minn., Nellie Henry of Rockford, Ill. and Barbara Boyce, White Hall, Ark.; thirty-three grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Osceola. Burial will be in Whiteside Cemetery by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-6 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Osceola, Ark.
