Oliver Herbert “Bo” Hilton, 83, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, March 26, 2017. He was born October 3, 1933 in Harrisville, Miss.
Bo was reared and received his early education in Mer Rouge, La. He served in the United States Army in the early 1950s. Mr. Hilton worked at International Paper for 38 years, retiring in finishing and shipping. After retirement, he was an active member of the Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed traveling with his camping group, the “RailRunner Sams”.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Agnes Tyson, Alice Harrison and Effie Roper.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi Basham Hilton, whom he married November 10, 1958 in Bastrop, La.; daughter, Kay Crabtree of White Hall; two sons, Ronnie Hilton of White Hall and Bruce Hilton of Hot Springs; two brothers, Jessie F. Hilton of Bossier City, La. and Thomas Jefferson Hilton, Jr. of Mer Rouge, La.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson’s.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend David Poe officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
