LITTLE ROCK — Mr. O.D. Kirklin, Sr., 92, of Little Rock passed away February 29, 2012. He was born May 30, 1919 in England to the late Granville and Annie Tate Kirklin.
Left to cherish his memories, children, Guss Riddles, O.D. Kirkland, Jr., Carl Kirkland (Shirley), Earnest Franklin (Brenda), Calvin Kirklin (Teresa), Dorothy Lederman (Charles) all of Little Rock, Jesse Kirklin of Sherrill, James Kirklin (Phyllis) of Scott, Larry Kirklin (Valarie), Pearline Harris (Charles), Pamela Kirklin, Juvana Kirklin and Becky Kirklin all of Pine Bluff; sister, Katie Carpenter (Abraham) of Grady; 39 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Airport Church of Christ, 8000 East Port Drive, Little Rock.
Service will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Antioch Baptist Church, 500 N. McKinney Road, Sherrill. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Sherrill by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
The body will lie in state at the church from 1:30 p.m. until time of service.
