Lester Robinson:

STAR CITY – Mr. Lester Ray Robinson, 57, of Star City passed May 17, 2017. He was the son of the late Tommy Lee and Lillie Mae Lark.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017 at St. Ollie Missionary Baptist Church of Star City with Rev. Sherman Rochell, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery-Cedar Grove Section in Pine Bluff by Brown Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home.

His body will lie in-state Thursday, 10:15 a.m., until service.

Deborah Kell:

Deborah Hobbs Kell, 63, died May 22, 2017 in Pine Bluff. Debbie was co-owner and operator of Kell Athletic Goods.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Kell; sons, Jerod Kell, Casey Kell; brother; and granddaughter.

Wanda Posey:

Wanda Penny Posey, 75, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2017, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Posey was born February 1, 1942, in Little Rock, to the late B. Edgar and Elsie Mae Heslep Garrett. She was reared and received her education at Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood. She moved to Pine Bluff in 1966.

Mrs. Posey was a homemaker, homeroom mother, enjoyed gardening, and most of all she was a very talented artist and woodcarver.

She grew up attending Sylvan Hills Baptist Church and was a former member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Alan F. Posey of Pine Bluff; daughter, Cathy A. Penny (Steve) Sparks; son, William Wesley (Vicki) Penny, Jr. of Northwest Ark.; brother, Tom L. Garrett of Sherwood granddaughter, Melissa Hill of Pine Bluff; grandsons, William Penny and Weston Penny, both of Northwest Ark.; great-grandsons, Caleb Hill and Canaan Hill, both of Pine Bluff; numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth E. Garrett; and her sister, Doris J. Garrett Whittimore.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 6 to 8 PM, at Robinson’s.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, May 25, 2017, 11 AM, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander, Ark. (Saline County) with Reverend James Watson officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home.

Col. Robert Huselton:

CONWAY – Retired Army Col. Robert Glenn Huselton, 74, of Conway went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 22, 2017. He was born July 4, 1942, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to the late Albert Victor and Woody Huselton. He was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 48 years, JoAnn Huselton; two sons, Chris Alan Huselton (Angie) and Jason Hayes Huselton (Kayla); four grandchildren, a sister, Laverne Catter (Dave) of Colo.; and two nieces.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 24th at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral Home. Burial is at Crestlawn Memorial Park with full military honors.

Kathleen Mason:

Kathleen Elkins Mason, age 93, of Pine Bluff, died Monday May 22, 2017.

Born March 1, 1924 at Pine Bluff, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. Elkins and Alice Brown Elkins. A graduate of White Hall High School, she also attended the Pines Vocational-Technical School Nursing Program.

Mrs. Mason worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Jefferson Hospital for 18 years, retiring in 1989.

She was a member of Oak Park Church of the Nazarene.

Her husband, Olen Mason, preceded her in death on June 29, 1978. Also predeceasing her are a son, Olen Douglas Mason; a daughter, Jeanette Mason; several brothers and sisters; and three grandchildren, Carl, Jimmy, and Lisa.

Survivors include a son, Perry Mason; a daughter, Lynda Mason Meyer; a brother, Reuben Elkins; one granddaughter, Cheryl; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Rev. Hugh DelCamp officiating. Burial will follow in White Hall United Methodist Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Wednesday at 1 p.m.
