Mike Clement
Noah Michael “Mike” Clement, age 67, of Rison, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
Born March 23, 1952 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of Marcelline Williams Clement of Rison and the late Noah Mavo “Jack” Clement. Mike graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1970. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
He served in the Arkansas National Guard for six years. Mike was an active member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church.
He loved being outdoors, and his work as a cattle farmer fit him well. He was also an avid hunter.
In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his wife, Diane Gailey Clement, whom he married on September 14, 1991; and two brothers, John Clement (Jackie) and Dennis Clement (Alicia); along with a host of other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2020, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at the church with Brother John Mooney and Brother Jordan Ferris officiating. Burial will follow in Clement Cemetery near Grapevine by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
