The Pine Bluff Branch of the National Association of University Women’s (NAUW) International/Black History Day and Health Initiative program will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Adair-Greenhouse (Home Economics) Building on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
The theme for the event will be “A Celebration of Heart and Soul.”
The guest speaker will be Shirley L. Woodus, office/human resource manager for Thompson Hospitality at UAPB. She received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from UAPB. She is also a graduate of the C.H. Mason System of Bible Studies. She is a member of First Trinity Church of God in Christ.
Those attending are asked to wear red in recognition of “Go Red” for February’s Heart Awareness Month.
