Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, 3201 W. Second Ave., will host the One Pine Bluff Praying Together from 6-7p.m. Sunday, April 22.
“This initiative was organized by Pine Bluff Mayor Shirley Washington,” the Rev. Larry Battles, pastor of Mt. Nebo, said in a news release. “Representatives from the city and area churches will participate in the worship service. The emphasis will be on prayers for our young people, families, schools community, state, nation and world.”
Other participants will include the deacon ministry, young people’s praise dancers and the young adult choir of Mt. Nebo.
Those attending are encouraged to wear apparel which represents their church or organization. Casual dress is encouraged. All residents are invited to attend.
