Moreese Pugh Mayes, 69, of Pine Bluff died December 8, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born December 26, 1941 in Portland, Ark. to the late John H. Pugh and Avis Gray.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Mayes of Pine Bluff; two sons, Moreese (Nancy) Mayes, Jr. and Howard (Millie) Simmons of Pine Bluff; four daughters, Sandra Winston and Sharon Perry of Pine Bluff, Deloris Mayes of Jacksonville, Ark. and LeBertha (Aubrey) Williams of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Leroy (Janet) Pugh of Pine Bluff and John (Barbara) Mayes of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Adairee Foster of Las Vegas, Nev.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at Rose Hill Baptist Church by Rev. G.L. Ford. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
