DUMAS — Mrs. Modean Martin, 90 of Dumas, Ark., went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2011. She was born in Shirley, Ark. on June 13, 1921, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Lute.
Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and member of McGehee Nazarene Church. Her husband, Eldon Martin; a son, Robert Eldon Martin and sister, Betty Jewel Jolly, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters, Sharon (Willard) Mizell of Wichita, Kan. and Kathy (James) Kendrick of Gillett, Ark.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011, Griffin Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., December 8, 2011, Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Spencer Berry officiating followed by burial in Walnut Lake Cemetery.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Martin may be made to Caring for K-9, Dewitt, Ark.
