MedExpress plans teddy bear clinics at libraries

MedExpress Urgent Care will host teddy bear clinics at branches of the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library System for children ages 3 to 5.

“Bring your own teddy bear (or other stuffed animal friend) to learn about hand washing, X-rays, splinters and more,” a spokesman said in a news release.

Teddy bear clinics will be held:

• June 8 – 10 a.m., Watson Chapel library

• June 14 – 9:30 a.m., Pine Bluff main library

• June 27 – 10 a.m., White Hall library

MedExpress, 5510 S. Olive St., treats patients of all ages from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily without appointments. All major insurances are accepted, according to the release.
