Mr. Maynard “Buddy” Darrough died December 31, 2015 at his home. He was born May 9, 1949 in Dumas, Ark., to the late Roosevelt and Josie Mae Rack Darrough.
He is survived by his wife, Malissia Darrough, four sons: Jerome Brown, Frederick (Ethel) Darrough, David (Daisha) Thompson all of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Charlie (Evelyn) Thompson of North Little Rock, Ark., one daughter: Roxanne Thompson of Naperville, Ill., one brother: Isaac Darrough of Pine Bluff, Ark., and five sisters: Geraldine Womack, Mary Lee Gold, Jeanette (Leon) Ventry, Annette Allen and Gertrude (Kenneth) Evans all of Pine Bluff, four loving aunts, 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Breath Life Church by Pastor Kerry Price, Sr. burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Christian Way Funeral Home. The remains will lie in state from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the church.
Visitation will be today from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Christian Way Funeral Home.
