STAR CITY – Mary Kendall Dew, 88 of Star City died Tuesday at her home. She was born October 24, 1926 in Lafayette County, MS to the late Lucky and Dovie Starens Reid. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Star City and was a retired beautician and realtor.
Survivors include her husband, James Dew of Star City; four daughters, Mary Lois Kendall of Russellville, Patricia Mashburn of London, Ark., Barbara Strobel of Subiaco, Ark. and Rita Carter of Altheimer; one step-son, Jeffrey Dew of Hernando, Miss.; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 3:00 p.m. Thursday at First Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Forman officiating. Visitation is 2:00-3:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. There will be a private burial.
