Born April 25, 1962 in Dermott to Tyree Oates, Sr. of McGehee, and the late Mrs. Minnie Murphy.
Survivors: husband, Joe Lee Brown, Sr. of McGehee; two daughters, Hollie Morgan of Monticello, and Tameka Brown of Los Angeles, Calif.; one son, Joe L. Brown, Jr.; father, Tyree Oates, Sr.(Betty); one brother; three sisters; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Bailey Chapel Baptist Church in Tillar, Rev. Ricky Lattimore officiating. Burial at Bold Pilgrim Cemetery. Davis-Strickland Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
