The 2012 Martin/Altheimer All-School Reunion has been set for Aug. 10-12 in Pine Bluff and Altheimer.
All those who attended or taught at the Martin/Altheimer School during the years of 1942-2012 are invited to attend.
The following activities have been finalized:
Aug. 10 — Open registration from 1-4 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express, 2903 Pines Mall Drive; registration/social hour at 7 p.m. at PJ’s Event Center, U.S. 79 North.
Aug. 11 — Parade from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in downtown Altheimer; Alumni Picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Altheimer City Park. The highlight of the reunion will be the banquet/dance (semi-formal attire) at 7 p.m. at PJ’s Event Center. Calvin Johnson, interim chancellor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, will be the keynote speaker. The guest soloist for the evening will be Kendrick “KJ” Williams Jr., son of Kendrick Williams Sr., a 1991 Altheimer High School graduate, and Paulette Williams.

Aug. 12 — Memorial service at 11 a.m. in the former Altheimer High School auditorium. A family dinner will follow in the same location. A farewell reception will be held at 7 p.m. at PJ’s Event Center.
