Sister Marilyn Jo Simmons was born on September 2, 1953, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Willie Simmons and Maxine McClain.She passed away on October 28, 2014. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memories one son – Jameel Hameen of Fayetteville, Ark.; three daughters – Dinetta Buchanan and Shauntae Simmons, both of Fayetteville, Ark.; and Patience (Todd) Carr of Tulsa, Okla. two brothers – Steven McClain of Fayetteville, Ark. and Donald Haltiwagner of Pine Bluff, Ark.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one special cousin – Linda Bridges
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Union Baptist Church by Pastor Leroy Spears. Burial will be at a later date by Christian Way Funeral Home. Visitation will be today from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
