BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Funeral services for Lois Love Whitfield, 95, of Battle Creek, formerly of Gould, died February 8, 2012, will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., Aurburn MBC in Gould, Rev. Jimmy Bynum officiating.
She was born March 27, 1916 in Mississippi, daughter of the late Zeb and Lannie Love. She was preceded in death by husband, Freeman Whitfield; six siblings, Willie M. Griggs, James Love, Leroy C. Love, Earlean Matthews, Rachel Calhoun, Jearlean Roby.
She was educated in the public schools of Mississippi.
Survivors: one son, Robert (Delois) Whitfield, Battle Creek; grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
Burial will be in Jerico Cemetery in Gould, Ark., Perry Funeral Home.
