MONTICELLO — Mrs. Lisa Lynn Calhoun, 50, of Monticello passed away March 10, in Monticello. She was born February 15, 1963 in Monticello to Dorothy Owens Calhoun and the late J.D. Calhoun.
She was direct care consultant for Jenkins Memorial Center, attended stenography school at UAM and received an Interior Decorators Degree in Little Rock. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and a friend to many. She had a great love for animals and art. She was a free spirit with a keen wit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include two sons; Ronald Allen Martin, Jr. and wife, Brandy Kay of Monticello and Mason Daniel Martin also of Monticello; her mother, Dorothy Owens Calhoun of Monticello; one sister, Anne Hollinger and husband, Steve of Artesia, N.M. two nieces, Rachel Chapman of Atlanta, Ga. and Jaye Lynn Hollinger of Roswell, N.M.; one nephew, Will Hollinger of Artesia, N.M.; one great-niece, Addison Hollinger; two great-nephews, Jackson Hollinger and James Chapman; and many other relatives and friends.
