Maintenance work on Arkansas Highway 212 will require an alternating lane closure just west of Star City, Wednesday, April 13. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Traffic will be controlled with traffic cones, flaggers and signs. Motorists are encouraged to seek other routes during the maintenance work, according to a news release from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.
The work will consist of removing and replacing the existing two drainage pipes. One side of the culverts will be removed and replaced, and then the crews will switch to the other side and do the same.
