Let’s look at the real history

Editor, The Commercial:

There are many of us who are unhappy with our present mayor, quite a few. But as i think about our unhappiness with his handling ofhis own people, I can’t help but actually feel you. It’s time out for scheming and lying, playing games, and manipulation of people minds. When East St. Louis, Missouri elected its first Black Mayor in history, the majority of the Caucasians moved out of the city and moved to the surburban areas, majority of the jobs left the city of East St. Louis, it looked delapidated and run down. The same thing happened to Pine Bluff, Arkansas when it elected its first Black mayor. the hidden hand in the political arena in East St. Louis, Missouri chose themselves a candidate that they wanted, because the hidden hand never wanted a Black mayor in the first place. The hidden hand is at work in Pine Bluff, got their candidate groomed and running, and we’re falling for the oaky doke. The hidden hand has arranged for the votes to be split in the mayoral election, therefore forcing a run off. The amazing thing is the idea of a caucasian wanting to be mayor of a city that is 80% Black. Isn’t that Apartheid? Its official goal is the separate development of the nation’s several racial groups. The word Apartheid means separateness in Afrikaans. In America it means the same thing. Especially in the political system and the educational system. Oh, heck, the entire system is like that. Lets quit playing. How can we as a people think in our mind that they want our vote to represent us in office. Let history be your guide, they have never represented us before, regardless of how distorted our history books are. Lets look at the real history. Lets not be foo foo the nut case.
