State Sen. Gene Jeffress, a Democratic candidate for the 4th District U.S. Congress position, will be the guest speaker at the Southeast Arkansas TEA Party meeting. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Living Word Fellowship in Monticello.
Jeffress will outline his platform and goals for the district. The public is invited to attend the meetings to get to know candidates better before the primary election May 22.
