LeRoy Perkins
SHERIDAN – LeRoy William Perkins of Sheridan, Ark. was born June 8,
1933 in Hughes, Ark.
He was an active member and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Sheridan
for over 46 years, had served in the United States Army during the
Korean War and was a retired hardware salesman for Orgill Brothers
Hardware after 55 years of service, earning top salesman.
Mr. Perkins died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by
his family at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Henriella Gowen Perkins; son
and daughter-in-law, Mark and Nelodie Perkins; daughter, LeAnn Perkins
all of Sheridan; sisters-in-law, Libby and husband Bob Lace, Chloe and
husband Powell Pogue; grandchildren, Kerri Harris and husband Matt,
Courtney Reed and husband Phillip, Zach Perkins; great grandchildren,
Lawson and Landry Reed and Eli Harris and a host of nieces, nephews,
church family, customers and friends.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015
at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. A time of visitation will be
prior to the service from 1 p.m. until service time.
