DUMAS — Lelar Smith, 85 of Dumas, Ark. died on January 15, 2012. Mrs. Smith was born September 11, 1926 to late Posey and Avie Otts. She was a member of Hopedale Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Her parents; husband, James Smith and son, Thomas Smith preceded her in death.
Survivors include son, Roy Smith; three daughters, Ellen Fielder, Barbara Nuckles, and Carolyn Rogers; brother, Tommy Otts, Sulgent, Ala.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation held 6-8 pm, Tuesday, January 17, Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral held 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012, Griffin Funeral Home followed by burial in Walnut Lake Cemetery.
