LUTCHER. LA. – Laura Lee Chauvin Delhommer, a Christian, on July 31, 2014 passed away after a long battle of cancer at JRMC.
She was born on March 9, 1950, in Lutcher, La., to John G. and Euphremia C. (Bourgeois) Chauvin.
Laura was a native of Louisiana, for 50 years and a resident of Sulphur Springs, Ark., for the past 15 years.
She was an active member of many Christian Organizations during her lifetime.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Louis J. Delhommer, Jr., of 46 years; a daughter, Trisha Delhommer Shank (Greg); two loving grandchildren, Julia Lee Green and Roger Louis Shank; a beloved Aunt, Ruby Chauvin Loupe; a niece Ashley Cornett Balfantz and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Travis James Delhommer and a sister Cheryl Chauvin Cornett.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM, Sunday at Ralph Robinson and Son. A Celebration of Life will be 10 AM, Monday, August 4, 2014, at Double Wells Assembly of God with Reverend Mike Cottell officiating.
Burial will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery.
