June 2, 1929, God presented James Hines and Sassy Pope with a precious gift, Laura Mae Anderson, and God reclaimed his gem Thursday, February 5, 2015, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Laura Mae attended school in the Yorktown community.
She loved cooking and fishing.
She was married to the late Robert Anderson.
She was a member of the Motley Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m.,Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Motley Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Wiley Shelton, officiating.
Interment will be at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, with services entrusted to the P.K. Miller Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the mortuary on Friday.
Mrs. Anderson will lie in repose at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
