Ms. LaSonja Walker, 42, of Gould died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas.
Born July 12, 1973 in Dumas, she was the daughter of Benard Walker of Gould, Ruthie and Rickt Boyd of Dumas. She was a member of Greater First baptist in Pickens and a student at SEARK College in Pine Bluff.
Other survivors include three sons, Kiondra Walker, Diondra Walker both of Pine Bluff, Semaj Walker of Dumas, two daughters, Alexis Walker, Desiree Cypheus both of Chicago; one sister, Tinisha Smith of Dumas, three grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Gould with Rev. Jimmy Bynum officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Lawn in Varner by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas.
Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
The body will lie in state at the church Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
