SILOAM SPRINGS — Larry Vester Ferguson, 64, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died April 9, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. Born September 19, 1947, in Monticello, Ark., he was the son of Vester Hollis Ferguson and Gladys Lorene Carrington Ferguson. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and had been employed as a security police officer at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, in Pine Bluff, Ark.
Larry married Elizabeth Maluya John on May, 23, 1985, and they remarried on February 29, 2012, in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth of the home; two daughters, Tara Ferguson-Oliver and husband James of Pine Bluff, Ark. and Lynette R. Ferguson-Hunt and husband Carl of Siloam Springs; one sister, Joyce Chamel of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Donald Ferguson of Rison, Ark. and Roger Ferguson of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren, Riley Ferguson, Carlie Lynn Hunt, Katlyn Tharp, Autumn Tharp, Ethan Harris, Haley Harris, and Faith Oliver; niece Carrie Blundell and husband Edward of Benton, Arkansas; and great niece and nephew, Aliyah Blundell and Tommy Spivey.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will be at 12 p.m., at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark.
