MONTICELLO — L. C. “Buddy” Lucas, 75, of Monticello, died Monday, July 30, 2012 in Monticello. He was born May 4, 1937.
Survivors include his wife, Artie McCoy Lucas of Monticello; three sons, Gary Lucas, Stanley Lucas and Samson Arnold, all of Monticello; seven daughters, Dianne Allen, Erma Riley, Teresa Lucas, Linda Faye Lucas, Melanie Tolefree, all of Monticello, Cynthia Williams of Crossett, Shirley Kaye Lucas of Little Rock and Shirley Harris of Warner Robins, Ga.; three brothers, Erksin Lucas and James Lucas, both of Milwaukee, Wis. and J. B. Lucas of Little Rock; four sisters, Ruby Neal, Erma Miller, Earline Bridges, all of Milwaukee, Wis. and Verda Fields of Pine Bluff; twenty grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
