Chancellor Lawrence A. Davis Jr. of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will be the speaker for the kickoff of the 28th annual KingFest, an observance honoring the legacy of slain Civil Rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
The kickoff will be held at the joint meeting of the Pine Bluff and West Pine Bluff Rotary clubs at noon Tuesday at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
