The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality will sponsor a public hearing Tuesday on a proposed draft air permit renewal at Entergy Arkansas’ White Bluff coal-powered electric generating plant.
The hearing will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Redfield Junior High School’s auditorium.
The Sierra Club may speak out against the proposed permit renewal, according to an e-mail from Lev Guter, club spokesman, who invited the media to attend as activists show support for their right to clean air.
