ALTHEIMER – Pastor Johnnie Murry 59, of Altheimer, Ark. passed away on May 28, 2015. He was born January 13, 1956 to Juanita Mury and the late Israel Murry.
He was a 1974 graduate of Altheimer-Sherrill High School. He was the Pastor of Oak Grove Central Baptist Church in Tucker, Ark.
Survivors include his mother: Juanita Murry-Bryant (Altha) of Altheimer, Ark., children, Jionni Murry of Dallas, Texas. and Shanee Beckless (Randy) of St. Louis, Mo. siblings Michael Murry, Carolyn Loudermilk, Juanita Tolbert, Pamela Gardner, Renita Murry, and Teresa Sloan, nine Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Gospel Temple Missionary Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 10:15 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery (Cedar Grove Section) by Christian Way Funeral Home. Visitation will be held today from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Central Baptist Church in Tucker, Ark.
