John L. McDowell, Jr., 63, of Pine Bluff passed December 6, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born August 11, 1952 in Altheimer to the late John L. and Nancy McDowell, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie McDowell of Pine Bluff; a brother, Rickey McDowell of Wabbaseka and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at New Direction Baptist Church by Rev. Julius McDade. Burial will be in Altheimer Community Cemetery by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at the mortuary.
