STAR CITY – Jimmy Lee Moore, 74 of Star City died Friday at St. Vincent Health System in Little Rock. He was born December 23, 1940 in Star City to the late Beeson and Beatrice Marshall Moore. He was a First Freewill Baptist Church Charter Member, a teacher, coach and principal for the Star City School District for 36 years and was in the Army Reserves.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Ova Moore, Leon Moore and Willard Moore; and one sister, Virginia Socia.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Goggans Moore of Star City; two daughters, Angela Moore of Star City and Lori (Johnny) Doss of White Hall; one brother, Esial Moore of White Hall; and two grandchildren, Corey Doss and Samuel Doss.
Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Monday with Bro. Tim Forman officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial at Best Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church, 211 Church Street, Star City, AR 71667.
