On Saturday October 31, 2015, Jimmy Fred Edwards, Jr., 39 of Pine Bluff, was called home to his heavenly father. Jimmy was born July 22, 1976 in Pine Bluff to Jimmy Fred Edwards, Sr. and Betty Ruth Bennett Edwards of Pine Bluff. Jimmy was a Baptist in faith and graduated from Star City High School. Jimmy was employed by Tommy Lawhon Wildlife Game Processing in Pine Bluff.
Jimmy was preceded in death by one niece, Kayleigh Edwards; grandparents, James and Frances Bennett; and grandmother, Alma Norks.
He left behind a son, Austin Thompson; daughter, Chyann Bivens and one grandson, Christopher Frierson, all of Pine Bluff; one sister, Amanda (Troy Staton) Faver of Pine Bluff; three brothers, Ronald (Amber) Edwards of Grapevine, Terry Joe (Mary Esquiebel) Edwards of Star City, Richard Campbell of Grady, and Jimmy Dale (Felicia) Winchester of England; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and loved ones.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Joseph Pemberton officiating. Visitation is 1:00-3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Holly Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eddie Wayne Stephens, Hayden Campbell, Cody Collins, Robert Godwin, Jr., Adam Campbell and Troy Staton. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Winchester, Jason Carrington and Michael Smith. The family will be at the home of Jimmy and Betty Edwards, 3907 Mallard Drive, Pine Bluff, AR.
